Aphelion May

The May issue of Aphelion is finally online, featuring my comic fantasy poem 'resolutions (of a witch queen)' written back in January about the sort of new year's resolutions fantasy's stereotypical evil sorceress might make. Suffice it to say I had far too much time on my hands. It can be found here (http://www.aphelion-webzine.com/poetry/2008/05/ResolutionsOfAWitchQueen.html)

Hah! It made me laugh though.

How fun... I love it! Few people can pull off rhyme today, but you are one of them.

Then it's achieved its aim. (Actually, that might be a lie. I wrote this so long ago I can't remember whether I wrote it for laughs. I hope I did. If I was in a remotely serious mood at the time there's something very wrong with me.)

Thanks April. The hard part wasn't the rhyming. It was avoiding new year's resolutions to start writing only 'proper' poetry.
